Mailman GNU - Dutch language version
Welcome to the support page for the Dutch language version of Mailman GNU.
Mailman 2.1.9 and later versions
Starting from version 2.1.9, Mailman comes with complete, revised Dutch language support.

Mailman 2.1.5 and 2.1.8
For users of Mailman 2.1.5 and 2.1.8, revised Dutch languge support is available.
The language uptdates can be downloaded here:
Version 2.1.5 (Zip file, 120 kB).
Version 2.1.8 (Zip file, 121 kB).
Ater unzipping, you will see two folders: 'messages' and 'templates'.
1. Copy the contents of 'templates/nl' to the templates folder of mailman.
In Debian and Ubuntu, e.g., this can be done with:
cp templates/nl/* /var/lib/mailman/templates/nl
2. Convert the mailman.po file in 'messages/nl/LC_MESSAGES' to .mo format.
In Debian and Ubuntu, e.g., this can be done with:
cd messages/nl/LC_MESSAGES
msgfmt mailman.po
Copy the generated mailman.mo file to the appropriate folder in mailman.
In Debian and Ubuntu this can be done with:
cp mailman.mo /var/lib/mailman/messages/nl/LC_MESSAGES
